Instructions to the Applicant
The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals "fail" background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

44. INTRODUCE YOUR CHARACTER. INCLUDE SOME BACKGROUND STORY, CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, AND WHY THEY WANT TO JOIN THE DEPARTMENT.
- Brayden grew up in the southern Los Santos area, where criminal activity thrives. His father worked as a taxi driver, and his mother worked as a saleswoman in a local store. From childhood, Brayden's father taught him to work hard to achieve every goal. During his school years, Brayden has had few friends due to his modesty. Brayden's best friend would always support him morally and financially in difficult moments of life. Brayden asked where he got the money from, but his friend denied it. He loves to watch and discuss TV shows and sports programs, and he is always up to date with the news. Likes to speculate on topics and is talkative. He was a football player who played for the school and then gave the coach of the local team a try.
Brayden has occasionally seen teammates smoking and drinking. He set himself the goal of not drinking or smoking to become a professional football player. The coach hoped that Brayden would become a footballer, but unfortunately, this did not happen. Brayden stopped going to training because there was not enough money for travel or a new uniform and boots.
After graduating from school, Brayden wanted to celebrate this event with his friend, but the friend did not answer the calls. In the morning, Brayden discovers that his friend was shot dead in an area that was under the control of African Americans. He was depressed; he lost a loved one all because of his skin color, and then he began to truly appreciate friendship. Brayden needed money to study and pay loans; there were few of them in the family, so he went on a contract with the US armed forces. Brayden was a military police officer; in the army, he was taught to calculate the positive and negative points. During his military service, there were no glaring incidents; his days were spent on average securing the base at the International Airport. Brayden built a strong connection with the team he was in charge of and held the Lance Corporal position until the said team was disbanded. He gave that career up due to the connection he had built with his team. He could not see himself pursuing it further with a new team or in an unknown position. In other words, he had lost the motivation to serve in the Marine Corps but had not lost his ambitions
After serving in the army, Brayden paid off his parent's loans and started looking for a job. He took courses in cooking at a technical college and worked as a chef; the salary was not high. After he quit his job due to bad working conditions, he decided to apply for the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department, he was at the police academy but did not pass it under psychological influence, was very nervous at the exam, and lacked a few points to pass successfully. After the academy, Brayden was very upset because he lost a good job. There was no time to study again, and the budget did not allow it. He needed money to feed his family.
Brayden got a job at a taxi company and worked there; the salary was also low, working conditions were bad, and there was no career growth. Brayden contacted his friend from the academy and asked him to lend him money. The friend told him that the Sheriff's Academy was open and why shouldn't Brayden try again. He does not show aggression to try to solve problems through compromise; he is not ready to risk his life and is always cautious in tense situations. Since childhood, he has been afraid of dogs. His main distinguishing feature is his tendency to do everything quickly and act alone, which can lead to disastrous results.
Brayden is just for him the main respect among the people with whom he goes through life; he appreciates loyalty, devotion, and honesty in people, and hates lies, and hypocrisy. Brayden is very purposeful and hardworking, strong and self-confident, ready to cope with any difficulties, and ready to fight for justice and order in the city. He wants to be the one who protects and helps people and is willing to do anything to achieve his goal.
Thus, Brayden decided to enter the sheriff's academy to become a deputy sheriff. His motivation was to continue to serve his country, but no longer in the uniform of the army but in the form of a policeman. He knew that in the sheriff's department, he could continue to work with people, protecting their rights and ensuring their safety. It was important for him to be useful to society and make life better for everyone.
