
On the 22nd of March, 2024, the San Andreas State Senate voted unanimously to approve S.B. 145. On the 29th of March, 2024, S.B. 145 was signed by the Governor and officialized as state law.
S.B. 145 requires that any government agency, which is defined as "any municipal or municipally funded, county or county-funded, state or state-funded school district, board, officer, bureau, commission, department, division, body, or otherwise thereof, any separate unit of government created and established by law, notwithstanding the Executive, Legislative, or Judicial branches of government" releases certain public records that abide by the regulations found in the legislation.
Public records may be submitted to the Risk Management Bureau.
