Instructions to the Applicant
The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail†background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

- Malcolm is from the South side of Los Santos, specifically around the Davis district. Opening his eyes to relatively the worst part of the city was never easy for Malcolm. It was hard for him to find long-lasting and healthy friendships in that district. Along with growing up in the worst part of the city, Malcolm was raised by a single mom and It brought some financial struggles to his family. Due to financial struggles, Malcolm did not have the option to go to college It was pretty hard for him to finish high school. Malcolm had to start working just after turning sixteen to support his mother and make her a little bit more comfortable. Even though he grew up in the worst district of the city, he was lucky enough to find a good friend, Otto. Malcolm's friend also faced almost the same struggles as Malcolm did and this made them get closer pretty quickly. Eventually, Malcolm and Otto became close friends up until 18.
One of the reasons Davis is considered the worst part of the city mainly is gang activities. These gang activities took many lives of young teens and Malcolm witnessed a bunch of them. Malcolm could never relate those gang activities as he always thought, all these actions that young teens were performing just to prove themselves and get validation. This mentality kept Malcolm away from any trouble up until he was 18 years old. Malcolm's 18th age was a turnaround for him. On one of the cold nights around the neighborhood, Malcolm and Otto witnessed a car evading from police, crashing into the wall and at least 7 police cars were right behind him. Four suspects got out of the vehicle and shots were fired. Being at the wrong place at the wrong time, Otto got shot. This memory was traumatizing for Malcolm as he saw his best friend getting killed right in front of his eyes.
Witnessing his friend's death made Malcolm hate even more Davis. This event was traumatizing enough for Malcolm to beg his mother to move to a different district. Malcolm and his mom moved away approximately 2 months later after the event occurred. He had to deal with severe depression to get over this memory. Approximately 6 months later, Malcolm was feeling good enough to promise himself to do the best he could to get rid of any gang activities around the city. He did not want any other kids getting killed without any reason and he started doing research. He found out that LSSD has its Davis Station and right in that second he made his decision to become LEO for LSSD. His motto later evolved into protecting innocent people from any kind of danger. He then started to prepare for the academy and was ready to serve the city.
