Instructions to the Applicant
The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail†background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

- Jeremy Aldama, 21 years old, was born in a small town in Ohio. As a child, he moved with his parents to the state of San Andreas. They were in search of a better life. They settled in a small town called Mojave. It was only a few miles from the Los Santos area. His father was an ex-military man who had served in the Gulf War. His father's national and religious beliefs had a great influence on Jeremy's early life. Although local laws were more of a problem, that didn't stop his father from showing what the Second Amendment was. Jeremy's high school years were filled with fun with friends and anger at his parents. As a result, he began drinking and smoking well before the age of 21, but at the same time he developed social skills with his classmates. After high school, when life forced him to make a decision about his future, Jeremy enlisted in the US Army on a 4-year contract under the influence of his father. It was a tough start for a young boy. He never saw a future in uniform. During his time in the military, Jeremy proved to be a dedicated and disciplined soldier. He earned the respect of his superiors and peers alike. His service developed his physical and mental strength and taught him valuable skills such as teamwork, leadership and the ability to remain calm under pressure. When the time came and the contract expired, Jeremy returned to his family home. Today, Jeremy is trying to get on his feet by renting a flat and looking for work opportunities. Jeremy's military background provides a solid foundation for a career in law enforcement, as he understands the importance of discipline, integrity and respect for authority.
