Instructions to the Applicant
The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail†background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

- Garry Hopkins was born on April 9th, 1997, in Los Santos, San Andreas. His father was a local fisherman and his mother worked in a sewing factory, both being hard workers just to get by and earn food on to the table. Garry was the only child in the family and was left relatively alone, or with grandparents since both of his parents were working, mostly overtime. Garry loved going to his grandparents place, his grandfather's usual was telling Garry exaggerated war stories about the time when he was in the United States Army.
During his teenage years Garry found it increasingly interesting to work on engines, different types. Mopeds, motorcycles and even working on cars with his grandparents and finding new friends with hobbies alike in high school. Mostly tuning two wheeled vehicles, turning off their limits and just messing around in general. During high school years Garry's father died. He was struct by an unexpecting storm whilst out in the sea and went overboard, never to be seen again. Other than that Garry finished high school without an hassle however to support his mother he decided to start working and earn money as soon as possible.
The first job he got was in a gas station, working as a clerk. It wasn't anything to be proud of but it earned money. Garry was able to support his mother financially and ensure they both had a place to live, a place where to eat and sleep peacefully regardless of the weather outside. This went on about 3 years before Garry was struck with an advertisement to join the LSPD. He was braindead from the job at the Gas Station and wanted to do something more with his life, see more, experience more. And so he applied, getting through the inital training and being put on ride alongs with specific tasks to complete. Disaster struck as unfortunately during this stage Garry's grandmother was run over by a car and died in result of the accident. Since Garry's grandparents lived in Sandy Shores, out from the city Garry gave up on the idea of becoming a police officer in the city and instead went to help his grandfather with day-to day tasks and just be a support figure to his grandfather
In Sandy Shores, Garry didn't find a lot of job opportunities. But he did notice an advertisement on his phone about the sheriff's department taking in new recruits. Having already experienced law enforcement for a bit and enjoying it he thought he would give it a go again, and submitted his application, doing the procedure required in the application and hoping for the best.
In the meanwhile Garry continued supporting his grandfather, hoping for the best in regards to his application.
