Instructions to the Applicant
The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail†background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

- Lawrence Hawthorne was born and raised in the Los Santos' West Morningwood area, namely where he'd spent most of his adolescence life. Childhood was decent enough, especially in the area where more crime was happening sometimes than in South Central LS. In his early teen years right before his high school education, he lost his father in a car accident that left him in shock this impacted his teen years to a more withdrawn individual than the rest, being avoided by many because he seemed not talkative and being labeled as a weirdo.
During his years in high school, he gradually advance from being withdrawn to a healthy, social child. With the end of high school coming he'd set his goals in life which would be to miss college and work at the first opportunity that would present itself to him. The first major company he'd work for would be Bluewater Logistics which he'd seemed to enjoy and love for some time. With promotions came a lot of new responsibilities with a little bit of advancement in payment but not too much. At that time, he came across his old buddies that offered him a more prospective job with less of working hours and less straining his back at lifting heavy boxes all day long. He soon found himself working in the Bar of his friends as Supervisor, organizing the Bar the way they wanted and how they wanted regarding the workforce. It was very enjoyable for him for quite some time.
But in the end, he knew that this was temporary work just like his previous one. He needed to find a type of work where'd he have a steady career and better pay than both of the jobs. Within the last few days of working, he sought to take a vacation and come back with a clear head of where to begin a new career. He took off for a vacation after quitting his job, for a week or two at least. After coming back he'd come across LSSD's recruitment ad on the billboard looking for new members to join the department and he thought to himself why not give it a try?
