The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. - Andrew Rose was born in the Dukes Hospital, near his fathers precinct, in 1984. Rose had two older brothers, Dominic, and Victor. Rose lived in the Dukes with his family till his parents filed for a divorce splitting the Flores Family in half. Dominic and Rose went to live with their Father and Victor went with his mother. Several years had passed since his parents split. His father a Liberty City Police Department Sergeant was a hero to Rose and Dominic. His father tried his best as a single parent to meet his children's needs and wanted to be there for his sons. One night, his father had taken overtime detail near a gas station that was robbed a few nights ago and was an active target for criminal's in the area. At 5:43 AM, Dominic rushed into Rose's room and woke him up. Dominic was in tears, that's when Rose's world would change for him...
Following a few months after the death of his father and his older brother Dominic enlisting in the Army at the age of 18, Rose's was sent back to his mother. At the time, his mother went through some hardships and ended up with the wrong kind of people which involved gang activity and heavy narcotics use. Rose suffered abuse by his mothers friend's and multiple boyfriend's over the years. His brother Victor, was part of the local street gang known for armed robberies and grand theft auto's. Rose didn't recognize his brother anymore as the tattoo's swarmed both arms, his teeth rotted from the constant smoking, drug use, heavy drinking, and the scar's he received when he fucked up. Rose had a tough time in school and couldn't get good grades. He was always looked at by classmates with pity as the multiple bruises, scratches, and cuts were all over his body. The school's administration always questioned Rose and see if he needed help. He'd shrug it off and said he fell or his dog got a bit rough. When he got home one day, his mother was crying and sobbing in the kitchen holding a picture of Victor. Rose asked his mom what's wrong and if she's ok, she turned to Rose and informed him that Victor was killed by a rival gang...
By 1999, Rose was prepping to go into the United States Marine Corps. His Mother cleaned up her act and got a better job to provide for Rose while Dominic was still in the Army on a deployment to Germany. Rose had changed since he was a kid, he didn't want pity or remorse for the trauma he endured as a child. He only wanted what was best for him and him alone. Rose went to the recruiters office and signed himself up for a 0311 slot in the Marines. The day he stepped off that bus at Parris Island made Rose realize that his life would change for the better or worse for him...
After the September 11th Attacks in his home State, Rose a Private First Class , deployed overseas to Kuwait with the 2nd Battalion, 6th Marines for the Invasion of Iraq. The 2/6 supported other Marine units in the area during OIF and conducted operations around Iraq. Rose was liked by his fellow marines by being a cold faced devil dog. Rose picked up basic knowledge during his service such as learning the Iraqi culture and learning basic Arabic keywords which he has developed over time. On a routine patrol in the war torn city of Fallujah, Rose team was conducting anti-terrorism operations when they were hit by automatic gunfire and RPG fire. Rose was hit by a 7.62 round and shrapnel during the firefight both in his left arm. By the end of the ordeal, Rose was awarded the Purple Heart. He was sent back to the states and honorably discharged. He later found out from his mother that his brother Dominic was killed in action.
By 2008, Rose decided to start a new life and he figured to settle in Los Santos due to many reasons such as low rent cost and many professional careers out there. Rose settled in Los Santos and rented a small apartment at East Los Santos were he witnessed multiple gang related shootouts as well as narcotics being exchanged. Rose was hooked up with a job, working as a Chef at the heart of Davis were he was witnessed gang shake downs being executed by the Los Santos Sheriff's Department and during his time he friended a few Deputies working at the Davis Station involved in the notorious department gangs which dragged his interest on how they operate in the streets, with his experience Rose decided to develop himself mentally and physically to pursue a career in a professional civil career.
