Instructions to the Applicant
The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail†background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

- SPOILER: show
- Law enforcement always sparked Kayleigh interest. She had always been fascinated by the bravery and commitment shown by police officers and sheriff's deputies. She would spend hours reading crime novels and watching police shows, imagining herself to be the "hero" who was going to protect the city she lived in. Her mother owned a small salon where she frequently volunteered to help, while her father worked nonstop in a factory. Despite their financial struggles, Kayleigh's parents taught her the value of perseverance, hard effort, and helping others. Kayleigh has two siblings who served in the US Army, and their dedication to protecting the nation motivated her to become a Deputy Sheriff. It didn't take her long to realize that she wanted to follow in their footsteps because she was inspired by their courage and willingness to place themselves in danger for the benefit of others. Kayleigh chose to follow her passion for law enforcement after graduating from high school and applied to the Los Santos Sheriff's Department. She put a lot of effort into her entrance test preparation as well as her physical training for the academy. Kayleigh is committed to improving her city and acting as a bridge between Law Enforcement and the community of Los Santos. As she applies to protect and serve the people of Los Santos, Kayleigh is prepared to confront any obstacle with the help of her brothers and her own tenacity. Kayleigh never lost sight of her roots or the sacrifices her siblings had made throughout it all. They remained a constant source of inspiration for her, and a reminder of the importance of serving one's country and community.
