The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. - Roderick Jelani Bradley was born and raised in Los Santos, San Andreas. Growing up in hostile environment (Davis Neighborhood) it was pretty tough for Bradley family to make ends meet. His father was a clerk at a local gas station, and his mother an elementary school teacher, and they tried their best to keep Roderick away from the streets.
Roderick was never a good student: constant clashes with students from neighboring areas, absenteeism from classes. The only thing that was fun for him in school was basketball. He started playing for the middle school sports team and was decent at it, spending all his time outside on a court. This was a real salvation for him, literally keeping him at school. Roderick’s dream was to make it to the NBA, watching Carmelo Anthony, Dwyane Wade and LeBron on TV. And even though his grades were not impressive, as he was starting high school, he focused on getting a scholarship from one of NCAA colleges.
Sadly, no college has offered him a scholarship. Even Division 3 teams were not interested in a young prospect from Los Santos. So Roderick was forced to go to Community College to get some sort of graduation, since his parents could not afford sending him elsewhere. Spending two years there, he resided in Los Santos in a rented apartment – first, he went to work at a local car dealership as a security guard, and then leaving for a clerk position in a sports merchandise store. After two years there and seeing no bright future ahead of him, Bradley applied to the local Sheriff Office with the hopes for pursue a law enforcement career.
