5.8. ELABORATE ON YOUR PRIOR GTA WORLD ROLEPLAYING EXPERIENCE:
5.9: show
I started last year. I use to roleplay in a Mexican faction in Burro Heights, but I wasn't active back then, so I didn't get that far. I eventually left to try something new. I then made my mind up and joined Morrison & Meadows DTO, and I had a lot of fun there and progressed a lot and have been there ever since. We split ways ICly and eventually became a blood faction called Carson Mafia Gangster Bloods. I was leading that faction for a short amount of time, but I got burnt out, so I stepped down to pursue something different on the server.
I am currently roleplaying with a Jamaican DTO, which mirrors the famous Jamaican Shower Posse, I am having a lot of fun right now, and I intend to stay here. However, to prevent me from getting burnt out, joining the Sheriff's Department would help because it's something completely different from what I am doing now.

5.9. PLEASE BRIEFLY EXPLAIN WHAT YOU INTEND TO BRING TO THE FACTION IN TERMS OF ROLEPLAY QUALITY AND CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT (Min. 200 words)
5.9: show
I intend to bring realistic and quality roleplay to the faction. I have a decent amount of Law Enforcement roleplay experience from LSRP, so I'd say this isn't a new environment for me. If I can join the Los Santos Sheriff's Department, I will make sure the people around me enjoy good quality roleplay without the play-to-win mentality. The pay-to-win mentality has never been for me, and I'm not too keen on it. I like giving other people around me a chance to have fun too. I've tried different types of roleplay, illegal, legal. Still, I've had the most pleasure roleplaying a Law Enforcement Character. I like the feeling of having to develop my character from the bottom and potentially joining Divisions in the Sheriff's Department and making a name for myself.
I think I've made a well-thought and different background story for my character, and I know exactly what and where I want to be in the faction if I get the opportunity. I will also develop my character off duty, living everyday life, having a drink with friends, going out to eat, and just chilling with them in general. I'll mix it up a bit. I will use my experience, and I'll read up on life in the Sheriff's Department some more, so the faction members and others around me can enjoy some quality roleplay, just like they deserve. I will make sure I portray a realistic character in the faction if I get the chance.

5.10. PLEASE WRITE YOUR INTENDED CHARACTER'S BACKSTORY (Min. 300 words):
5.10: show
Tyreke Leonard was born and raised in Los Santos, South Central, to an extended family that supported him throughout his education. Tyreke's mother was a housewife. She looked after Tyreke's siblings and grandparents. His father was a retired army veteran. He lost his dad at a young age due to heavy drinking.
Tyreke attended Carson Middle school, graduating and attended Davis High School. During his time in high school, Tyreke encountered many instabilities within his family, ultimately affecting his academics. Consequently, Tyreke was not able to attend school for three months in his second year. The financial situation of his family was in turmoil. Having many heads living under the same roof was quite the task for the family's breadwinner to manage, so Tyreke spent three months working as an apprentice mechanic at the local shop. Tyreke, without knowing he was working on some valuable skills that would help him drastically in the future, Tyreke saved religiously. Any money made was stashed away for future use. As the days flew by, Tyreke's physique improved immensely due to his hard labor. Tyreke was able to contribute to the financial situation that his family was suffering from and attend high school once more. The board decided to let him repeat the year, and Tyreke later joined the football team, where he excelled and attracted scouts from across the city. They were most impressed with his drive and determination on the ball, as well as his strength to hold his opponents off. He made great strides in the sport, picking up multiple awards while maintaining a decent academic standing.
Tyreke would later be awarded a scholarship to attend the University of Los Santos to play football. Tyreke took the offer with open arms, pursuing a degree in human psychology. Tyreke's primary focus was to pursue a career in football. He saw it as the ultimate opportunity to help his family endeavors. Tyreke kept his head down and continued on his path, month after month, semester after semester.
Tyreke Leonard's hard labor didn't bear fruit. As the scouting opportunities dried up, his scholarship was cut short, and he had to retreat to the systems loaning department to finish up his degree. Tyreke graduated with a bachelor's in psychology, a degree he didn't plan to use, and now is in thousand of dollars debt.
Tyreke's pursuit of a job was frustrating, and his primary focus was to get something that he can utilize his degree in. To avail, Tyreke settled on joining the Sherrif's Department. It's close to his community. He can remain in contact with his family and friends. He held his degree in this context as a way to separate him from the other candidates who would've been applying straight out of high school.
