The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification

- Born on September 12, 1994, in the crime ridden neighborhood of El Burro Heights, Javier Guerra faced hardship from the start. Raised by dedicated parents, Carlos and Maria, in the middle of poverty, they instilled in him a resolute determination and a value for education.
After school, Javier joined ULSA to break the cycle of poverty and contribute positively to his community. Amid rigorous studying and hardships, he developed various skills, discipline, and a strong work ethic.
Javier focused on education, enrolling in a community college to study criminal justice. Balancing responsibilities, he excelled academically, displaying tenacity despite his self-reliant tendencies stemming from his challenging upbringing.
His commitment to education and community showcased his strong sense of responsibility. His leadership and fairness earned respect from peers.
Living among poverty and violence, Javier used fitness as an outlet for stress, while mentoring at-risk youth at a local community center. His experiences converged, guiding him toward an unexpected path. As he pursued criminal justice studies, he felt drawn to bridge the community-authority gap.
Guided by his past, Javier's aspiration to become a law enforcement officer gained clarity. His journey showcased a profound transformation, from a determined young individual navigating hardships to a future deputy sheriff aiming to make his community safer.
