Disqualification

- Oliver is a native Los Santos resident. He was born into a middle-class family, his father being a pharmacist at Pillbox-Hill. He went to school like all children and then to high school. He made some friends during his studies, but after high school they all slowly disappeared. After high school Oliver worked as a van driver for a year, it was a temporary job, while he was looking for a really interesting one. And now, in 2020, Oliver is offered a 4-year contract with the Coast Guard for very good money. He agrees and he is taken to the academy, and then to the service as a rescue helicopter jump diver.
The situation at the border was becoming increasingly tense due to the increase in smuggling, so Oliver was called upon more and more often for missions that were not about rescuing people, but about finding drugs. The basic rescue work was gradually being overshadowed, which Oliver didn't like. In addition, he was not satisfied with the conditions of service: the salt water, in which he had to spend long shifts, had a negative effect on the body. Shortly before the end of his contract, Oliver suffered a head injury while on a rescue mission on a boat in a violent storm. He was diagnosed with a skull fracture at the hospital and underwent several surgeries and a year of rehabilitation. Now that his rehabilitation is over, Oliver has only disability benefits left, which is the reason he decides to get a job. He does not want to change his occupation and wants to find something similar to his old job. Since there are not many paramedic openings in the state at this time, Oliver's choice was LSSD. He had heard good things about "the largest sheriff's department in the country," and he liked the salary listed in official sources. After consulting with his colleagues and other active tactical paramedics, he decided to make his way into the rescue detail. He crossed paths with members of the detail at regular SATOA (San Andreas Tactical Officers Assotiation) exercises, has long been familiar with the rescue detail of SEB and has several acquaintances within it. With the idea of joining it, he applies to the academy, counting on his new experience as a patrol officer as well.
