Instructions to the Applicant
The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail” background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

- Oscar Miller was born on December 13, 1999 in Los Santos. His father was a worker in a factory and his mother was unemployed. His father was a disciplined, tough man. This temperament of his father affected both Oscar's childhood and his personality. Oscar's father advised Oscar to always protect himself and never forgive a wrong done to him. Following his father's words, Oscar began to be interested in sports and develop his muscles since he was in middle school. His mother was uneducated and always wanted Oscar to read. Although his father had a harsh personality, he never had any problems other than the occasional verbal argument with his wife. As you can see, Oscar's family life was strict and disciplined. But it wasn't bad. Both his father and mother always wanted Oscar to do well and to be able to stand on his own feet. Oscar was aware of his family's love for him. He always worked hard not to let them down and tried to do better.
Oscar was enrolled in Davis High School by his family because it was close to his home. Oscar was someone who always tried to stay out of trouble, but didn't hold back if someone disrespected him. Since the area where the school was located was an area where gangs, generally called ghetto areas, were rampant, young people who were wannabes of these gangs were also in this school. For this reason, even if he didn't want to, he got into fights with these gang members several times inside and outside the school. These gang members would bully some students at school and take their money. Oscar would not be the target of these events because he is big and has a personality that does not hold back. He wouldn't get involved either. He would attend his classes and go home when he finished school. He didn't look for action, he knew that a wrong word to the wrong person could cost him his life. In the region where he lived, some murders could be committed even just because of a word. Oscar finished his high school life with this determination.
Even if Oscar has taken the university exam and passed, if he goes to university, a financial burden is created that his family cannot bear. I saw his father cry for the first time. It turned out that not being able to educate a successful child was a huge burden for his father. Oscar was upset that he couldn't go to college, but his father was amazing to him the way he was.
Oscar started working at a market to support his family home. Since it is a small market where drinks are generally sold, there are a lot of employees working. Even if he got along well with his boss, this was ultimately not a sustainable job. Decision approval for a job that only saves the day without university students in the time spent in this type of private sector jobs. From then on, he decided to enter a public hospital. After some research and elimination, the decision was made at the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department. There were several reasons for the main choice; High school graduation, good salary opportunity, a good retirement and an honorable life. Oscar worked at this shop for a few more years. Even if he got along well with the owner of the business, this was a job he could only do only to a certain extent. So he resigned from his job. After few months, he sent application to the Sheriff's Department.
