The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification

- Harvey was raised in Paleto to a Lower Middle Class Family, his father pulling long shifts at a hardware store and his mother scraping at a diner. He wasn't bad at school but he wasn't terribly motivated, more enchanted by the thrill of after school soccer games and the creative writing class that his high school then colleged offered him. He was a creative, inquisitive, and competitive kid and grew to be an observant, sly, and justice-oriented man.
His upbringing was marked by the occasional robbery either of his father's hardware store or the diner his mother pulled shifts at. In either case, it meant canned spaghetti and saltine crackers for the week. It wasn't the inability for them to afford decent groceries that bothered him the most, it was the feeling of powerlessness. Not being able to protect his mother when a knife or gun was pulled on her and seeing his father grow angrier and angrier each time the hardware store was hit by this thug or that conman. This build up of rage was usually channeled into sports but as he entered college he channeled it into studying Law & Criminalogy at University of San Andreas..
Fresh from college he is searching to enter the field of criminal justice and make sure less kids in the Blaine County have to be raised under such a level of passive anxiety and active fear. It can't undo the past, but maybe, Harvey thinks, it might change the future for some of these kids.
