Instructions to the Applicant
The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail†background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

- Ethan was born in Queens, New York, in 1998. He was raised as a second child after his big sister Elizabeth. He was known in his childhood neighborhood for his attention to detail and a strong attraction to history. He loved to read when he grew up. He was mostly interested in the military history of the United States and several other nations. He was just another kid on the block as he was growing up. He took his education up to high school in his birthplace, Queens. His father passed away during a dramatic car accident when he was in his sophomore year of high school. Her sister was already in college in Europe when their father died.
So, from then on, he had to act as the man of the house to take care of his mom. He spent his last two and a half years both going to high school and working numerous part-time jobs to provide for himself and his mom. During this phase, Ethan bestrided his "teen" self and faced the harsh conditions of life. After Ethan graduated from high school, he thrived to study history and moved to Los Santos for a better chance at education, or that's what his mother thought. Ethan actually moved to Los Santos with his girlfriend, who also got into college in Los Santos, following his high school lover. His mom always supported his decisions throughout his entire life, so she was supportive of this adventure of Ethan's. Ethan was able to get into college with the help of his mom's pension and her sister's support. Shortly after he started studying, his mom passed away during an illness she took up when Ethan's father passed away.
And with that, a new chapter started in Ethan's life. He realized that he didn't want to spend even a second in college and dropped out. Started working in different jobs to pay for his expenses. After a while, he knew that he had to pick up some sort of serious life goal. He enlisted in the United States Armed Forces and completed his military service. After completing his 4-year service, he returned to Los Santos, where his so-called "life" was set up. With the little money he saved up, he knew he had to get a job, and he wasn't going to go around working in random jobs just to suck up a few dolar bills so that he could eat. His love for history (and war history in general) always made him feel close to the United States Armed Forces, but his adventure there was done. So in his opinion, he went for the second-best thing: being a police officer. He applied for the Sheriff's Department, not knowing that an entire chapter of his life was about to begin.
