The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. - Kron Vettori was born to a single mother in South East Los Santos. Growing up, he did not have a father figure and had to struggle growing up in a low income family with a mother struggling to make ends meet. As he was growing up, he was exposed to crime from a young age, having witnessed heavy drug use, robberies, as well as murder. As a young teen, Kron could be described as "troubled," but did what he could to overcome this. Starting at age 7, his mother had enrolled him in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu where he practiced non-stop throughout his school and reaching the rank of Brown Belt. Kron had attended high school in South Central and maintained average grades. Shortly after his graduation from high school, his mother had passed leaving him alone with no family. At that point, Kron was broken hearted and lost. Considering his mental toughness and physical shape, he decided to devote his career to serving others.
Being young, he decided to look for some mentorship and was acquainted closer to one of his BJJ coaches, Brandon Figuero. Brandon was an avid farmer that offered Kron an opportunity to help him out on the farm for some cash and to move away from the violent life in the bad part of the city. Kron would work on his farms on and off for several years between Sandy Shores and Paleto. Once he finished his High School degree, he would then enroll into university where he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Kron was able to attend university while working and he would commute to class daily. After four years, Kron had the education desired, as well as motivation to grow and join a law enforcement agency. Kron had realized that the violence and hostility he grew up on was the exact opposite of what was needed to have a good and fruitful life. He decided it was time to grow himself and further develop his community, to be someone that others can look up to. At that point, he began researching nearby where he could get his foot in to begin his career in law enforcement.
He had moved up to the area of Paleto Bay where he could work as a farmer during the time of his recruitment. He initially joined the San Andreas Park Rangers where he remained for a short amount of time. He had attended their academy and exceeded expectations throughout his training. During his short tenure with the Park Rangers, Kron had realized that his aspirations go beyond patrolling the state parks. He began to do research into further development of his career and began reading into the Los Santos Sheriffs Department. He enjoyed the aspect of being able to work in a custodial service, as well as having the jurisdiction of the entire county, allowing him to expand back into the city of Los Santos where he had initially grew up. One day while on break, he was browsing the local newspaper up in Paleto where he came across an AD letting him know that the LSSD was hiring. At that point he knew it was time to apply. He had turned his Park Ranger badge in, submitted his application to the Sheriffs Department, and began physically and mentally training for when his time to serve comes.
