Instructions to the Applicant
The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail†background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

- Steven McCharty, born on April 18th, 2000, spent his first years in the Los Santos Del Perro/Vespucci area, in a broken down apartment. With his parents always working late and trying their best by working long hours to meet ends meet, Steven raised himself, learning to take care of himself and his home. Despite the challenging circumstances, Steven never allowed them to control him. He was adamant that he would succeed and improve his lot in life. Steven began working as a car detailer soon after earning his high school diploma. He quickly advanced through the ranks within a year to achieve the title of "detailing specialist". He made the decision to go and look for other opportunities since he thought there was more he could be doing with his life. At the Capital Boulevard Xero 24 General Store, Steven's next position was as a shift manager. He took pleasure in the responsibility and challenge of leading a team. He swiftly picked up leadership skills and problem-solving techniques. Despite his prior employment's success, Steven sensed that something was lacking. His passion was always about giving to others and reinforcing his community by being the helpful neighbor which made him lean towards a career in law enforcement. With time, Steven became more and more passionate about joining the Sheriff Department, researching law enforcement practices, undergoing physical and mental training, and learning about the duties of a Sheriff's Deputy. Regardless of how requiring a career in law enforcement is, Steven is a determined, tenacious and diligent person has conquered numerous obstacles in his life which would make him a perfect fit. His drive to give back to his society and his great leadership abilities have both grown.
