Instructions to the Applicant
The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail†background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

- Aaron Gamboa is the second and youngest child of a modest and hardworking family living in Paleto Bay. Aaron's childhood was rather dull and average, as he never really stood out of the crowd. He was just your local neighborhood kid. His father was a hard worker and provided for the family. He would often be absent as he was a truck driver, driving across the county. The little time Aaron got to spend with his father was spent fishing, hunting, and other outdoor activities.
Aaron knew at a young age that county life was not for him. He would often fantasize and daydream about one day living in the big city. When he was thirteen, he seized the opportunity to go on a school field trip to Los Santos, and he was immediately amazed. He spent all day staring at the bustling crowd and the tall buildings. The pure sound of traffic seemed to amaze this young country boy, and right there and then, he knew he would once live there.
When he came back, he started saving up his allowance, and once he got old enough and at the right age, he moved out of Paleto Bay for college and rented a small apartment at Pink Cage Motel Room. He also got a part-time job in a local restaurant in Los Santos, which was owned by a former deputy sheriff, in which the owner and Aaron would engage in random conversations during and after work hours from time to time, giving life advice as well as his time as a deputy which sparked Aaron's interest in law enforcement even more.
Aaron worked there for over a year until he decided that it was about time to leave to focus more on college since he was in his last term as a senior. Long story short, he finished college and got his bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. After that, Aaron went back to Paleto to visit his parents and friends to spend some time with them, seizing the opportunity since he was unemployed for 2 months.
While Aaron was doing his grocery at a local market in Paleto, he saw a flyer on top of the counter saying that the LSSD was hiring. From that point on, he rushed back to his parent's house and told them that this was the moment he's been waiting for. The next day, Aaron kissed his parents goodbye and went back to Los Santos, full of hope, to kick-start his law enforcement career.
