The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.
Disqualification
There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. - Duke Mitchell was born and raised in Memphis, TN. Growing up, Duke was the middle child of Alice and John Mitchell. Their family consisted of 3 kids, where each of them chose different career paths. John was a guitar player and a musician, while Alice, his wife, was a nurse. In the beginning, John tried to steer Duke's empathy and ambition towards music. However, quite early they understood that music wasn't meant to be Duke's passion as he started to attend more and more sports, in which he exceeded and was good at. In his teenage years, Duke was in love with American football, but he knew that he'd never be able to become a pro and he started to look for different ways to build his career's foundation on.
High school years for Duke weren't the easiest ones. He learns things slowly and it is hard for him to adjust to new things. He tends to be very skeptical and very cautious towards people. Sometimes he overthinks simplistic things. His strengths are his calculations and physical skills. He loves to be in control of his surroundings and would rather do things himself, then ask someone else. Duke finished high school with a degree in Psychology, which was an excellent choice, because he wanted to understand others more.
Couple of years after receiving his high school diploma, Duke decided that it was time for a new chapter in his life and moved to Los Santos, San Andreas. One rainy evening, scrolling through his phone, Duke saw an ad; Los Santos Sheriff's Department, recruiting trainees.. Next morning, Duke woke up and went to submit his application.
