OFFICE OF THE SHERIFF
GREGORY REZNIK LOS SANTOS COUNTY SHERIFF |
HALL OF JUSTICE 301 INNOCENCE BOULEVARD |

Applicants who wish to appeal their disqualification may utilize this topic for reference. In the case you are disqualified from the hiring process, you can appeal your disqualification by composing a forum private message and sending it to the ASD: TB Command usergroup on the forums. There is no specific format to use.
Applicants must:
Once you have sent the private message, be patient. You will get a reply in due time, typically before five (5) days, though in some cases longer. Continuously contacting or pestering faction members about the status of your appeal or/and application can delay your response and complicate the process.
Once your appeal is sent, it will be reviewed by the Training Bureau Command team. You will then receive further correspondence, in most cases from the Pre-Employment Unit sergeant through a forum private message.
Questions and Answers
Applicants must:
- Formally appeal the disqualification within three (3) business days from the postmark date of their letter of denial and before the commission of the academy class.
- Applicants must demonstrate that the factors leading to their disqualification are in error.

Questions and Answers
- What if I am not satisfied with the outcome presented by Training Bureau Command?
The verdict is final and can not be appealed further. An appeal is the result of a discussion throughout Training Bureau Command members and is not the result of a single person handling your appeal.
- - I do not know the reason of my denial, how do I get it?
This usually occurs when you get disqualified at the Written Test stage. We do not provide the exact reasons since it would greatly aid you with your next attempt if you decide to apply with us again.
The most common reasons for a denial during the Written Test stage include (but are not limited to):- A clear deficiency in the mastery of the English language (problems with sentence composition, grammar, etc)
- Showing a roleplay mentality which does not align with our faction's core values (see our Important Read: Mission Statement and Out-of-Character Core Values)
- Not fully and clearly answering all questions (for example only giving half an answer, beating around the bush, etc)
- - I'd like to get another chance, hence why I am appealing my application.
Appeals are not meant to give you another chance, but rather, overturn your disqualification. We do not give other chances nor retries.
