I've roleplayed with multiple illegal factions in the past, no LEO experience on GTAW so far. The most notable factions are Culver City Boys 13, Dogtown White Boys, The White Car, Family Affiliated Irish Mafia (FAIM), and King Kobras 13. I have also been a BAR certified attorney and found legal roleplay pretty interesting as I genuinely do value law-related roleplay, thus my interest in LSSD.

I'm an experienced roleplayer, especially in the field of jail/prison (custody setting in general) roleplay. I am able to portray my characters in a realistic manner, that fits the vibe and aesthetic of an American peace officer. I must admit that I take pride in my ability to portray a Californian-esque setting realistically, despite being a foreigner. I have a decent understanding of the Californian lifestyle, aesthetics, history, and politics. In general, I've noticed that there's a decline in jail roleplay, so I'd like to dedicate a character solely for this purpose. All in all, I intend on providing my top-tier roleplay to all the jail factions and other LSSD members as well. It must be noted that I do not have any interest in patrol, thus my decision to join as a custody assistant. I've made this decision solely to contribute to custody roleplay. I believe that my extensive knowledge in this field of roleplay could benefit this faction a lot. As for my character development, I've developed numerous characters in the past and most of them were considered as good. I'm able to take the L when the situation needs it. I don't play to win and I don't condone that mentality. Other than that, I'm known and recognized by multiple community members, for my quality roleplay skills. I'm convinced that I'll be able to bring quality custody roleplay to the server.

Matthew Pareja was born and raised in Davis, Los Santos County, San Andreas. He's a 3rd generation Mexican-American coming from a middle-class family. Born to Leticia Molina, a DMV worker, and Juan Pareja, an essential worker, as their only child. Matthew has been raised on the Southside of Davis in a poverty-stricken neighborhood. It's safe to say that his upbringing was considerably more difficult, due to this. Since his early childhood, Matthew was exposed to gang culture and gang violence. During the mid-2000s to early 2010s, the gang violence in the area of Southern Davis was spiking, and remaining out of it was not an easy task to accomplish. At the same time, the city of Davis is a heavily diversified area, influenced both by the Hispanic and Afro-American cultures. Pareja had a multicultural upbringing and grew up with strong principles that he picked up from his father.
Matthew Pareja had attended elementary school and high school in the city of Davis. During his youth, Matthew used to get in trouble, due to the obvious challenges of those years. Despite the spiking gang violence and the tempting gang lifestyle, he's managed to keep himself out of it. Shortly prior to Pareja's graduation from high school, his father had passed away due to a heart stroke. The death of his father had significantly affected Matthew's education. Pareja had then graduated high school with a relatively low grade. His final grades had affected his plans to go to East LS Community college, as he had not been enrolled.
Shortly after his graduation, Matthew picked up a job at the local Mexican-style fast-food chain restaurant The Taco Farmer as a line cook. He's managed to make the minimum wage and chip into the bills, as at the time he still had lived with his mother. While it was clear that Pareja had little to no perspectives for the future, he's decided to focus on community work and striving to tackle social issues and engage with the Community Cookouts initiative, whilst also focusing on his interests in the field of corrections and rehabilitation, as well as the penitentiary system as a whole. The Community Cookouts initiative is a community program focused on hosting events within the Hispanic communities in the area of Greater Los Santos (commonly known as Southland). The idea behind the program was to provide veterans, the homeless, and other persons in need with hot meals. Matthew had grown fond of himself and his achievements with the initiative, as well as had simply enjoyed his role as a community figurehead, whilst also being able to make a living due to the occasional government funding and donations to the initiative.
While the community program has left Matthew some leeway for progress, he was able to rent a condo in a slightly less affordable, but safer area of West Vinewood. The sole fact that he was able to move out from Davis had played a major role and shifted him even more toward the community work. In mid-2021, Matthew had resigned from his position in the Community Cookouts initiative and decided to progress with a career aligned with his interests.
