In 2019, Lawrence was observed swerving, drifting between lanes, and driving well bellow the posted speed limit on Route 68 near Harmony by an LSSD officer. The officer conducted a traffic stop and, in addition to not holding a valid San Andreas driver's license, Lawrence was visibly intoxicated and shirtless. Upon being administered a breathalyzer test, Lawrence blew a BAC of 0.12%. His vehicle was searched, and drug paraphernalia relating to the consumption of crack cocaine was found in the backseat of the vehicle. Lawrence was also found to have trace amounts of crack cocaine and benzodiazepine in his bloodstream.
