Instructions to the Applicant

The information you provide in this application will be used in the background investigation to assist in determining your suitability for the position of San Andreas Peace Officer, in accordance with POST Commission Regulation 1953.

  • It is your responsibility to complete this form and provide all required information.

  • This document must be filled out electronically and printed.

  • You must respond to all items and questions. If a question does not apply to you, write “D.N.A.” (does not apply) in the space provided for your response.

  • Send the completed form to your background investigator or the agency to which you are applying. Do NOT send the form to POST.

Disqualification

There are very few automatic bases for rejection. Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail” background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

BOTTOM LINE: You are responsible for providing complete, accurate, and truthful responses.

  • Holly Farrow, born in Los Santos, Pillbox Hospital on the 22nd November 1997. She was born to Michael Farrow and Emily Farrow neé O'neill as an only child. Holly’s father, Michael Farrow, was a US Army Logistics Officer and her mother, Emily was a stay at home Mother. Holly attended school within the Vespucci area of Los Santos. Throughout her school years Holly wasn’t very academically gifted, however she was getting average grades which her parents were content with. Holly graduated High School on 6th of June 2016. However, having average grades, Holly decided to pursue a career which she had her eyes on for years.

Shortly after graduating high school, Holly went down to her local armed forces career’s office, interested in joining. Holly filled in an application and went through the lengthy joining process of joining the Military. Holly enlisted and started basic training on the 29th of August 2016. Holly learned the core values of courage, discipline, respect, integrity, loyalty and selfless commitment during her time through basic training, as well as basic first aid skills and weapon’s handling, alongside learning how to maintain and preserve her kit and keep her admin to a high professional standard. Holly went through basic training for ten weeks and passed out as a fully enlisted soldier on the 24th of October 2016. Holly was then posted up at Fort Bragg up in North Carolina as a Military Police in the United States Marine Corps.

The next big thing in Holly’s life would be her first deployment, her first Tour of Duty. This would be the deployment to Kabul, Afghanistan, as part of Operation Enduring Freedom which would last six months and would expose Holly to the reality of her job as a Marine. Her initial first few months were fairly calm, and outside of administrative duties and patrols, she didn't encounter much trouble outside a few, small skirmishes.

After her first tour, Holly spent the remainder of her Service back in Fort Bragg carrying out her Military Police duties. Her main duties being a member of the Military Police in the armed forces are protecting lives and property by enforcing military laws and regulations. They are also responsible for controlling traffic, and responding to emergencies on Military bases/premises. Holly resigned from the Marine’s in 31st of January 2021. Since she wanted to return to civilian life and pursue a different career and have a change from the regimented and strict lifestyle. However she soon found that life simply never fell back into place after leaving the Marine Corps, and soon she came to miss her old lifestyle.

Furthermore, Holly’s reasoning for wanting to join the LSSD was because she had the core values she learnt from her family and from her previous work experiences within the Marine Corps, Holly believed in right and wrong. Even during her deployments Holly researched the role of law enforcement and policing the values of it, looking into the Police Officer’s Code of Ethics Summary, and researching real life stories from serving Law Enforcement Officer’s from all over the globe. Which then started to memorize to help her have a deeper knowledge and understanding of the role of policing which only then increased her determination and devotion in becoming a law enforcement officer, once she handed in her resignation. Holly is a motivated individual who wants nothing more than to make a difference in the community she lives in, which is currently back in Vespucci, Holly frequently visits Paleto as well. She has noticed the crime rate and illegal activities in her local area of Vespucci and Paleto rise. Only ever increasing her determination in joining the Los Santos Sheriff’s Department. The reason also for selecting the Sheriff’s Department and not the Police Department, is because Holly is an aspiring County local and knows many locals within the area. Improving her fitness and knowledge wherever she can. Furthermore, leading to her wanting to join the LSSD in particular due to their reputation and vigorous training, which makes them the best department.

  • The next big thing in Holly’s life would be her first deployment, her first Tour of Duty. This would be the deployment to Kabul, Afghanistan, as part of Operation Enduring Freedom
