Disqualification

Even issues of prior misconduct, such as prior illegal drug use, driving under the influence, theft, or even arrest or conviction are usually not, in and of themselves, automatically disqualifying. However, deliberate misstatements or omissions can and often will result in your application being rejected, regardless of the nature or reason for the misstatements/omissions. In fact, the number one reason individuals “fail†background investigations is because they deliberately withhold or misrepresent job-relevant information from their prospective employer.

- Christina Maynard, third child and the first daughter in the Maynard family was born and raised in Los Santos, her father worked in the local garage as a mechanic in Sandy Shores, while her mother pursued a career in the Community Health Center as a nurse, combined with her two elder brothers, the family lived in Sandy Shores. Forever loved and adored by her brothers since childhood however the affection was through pranks and silly fights that annoyed her to the core, until the age of school from where Christina started to develop a sense of independency within herself, at some point at the age of eleven, her father burdened with overtime to help the family's financial status was in a disconnect from the family, he wasn't very present in her life from then on, with a look of tiredness all the time. During this time, out of genuine understanding Christina was helping her mother take care of her brothers as she was very well off on her own when compared to her brothers, though with some issues. She went to the public high in Blaine County close to her home as it were recommended by a mother's friend who worked in the school as a teacher and followed in her brothers' footsteps.
During her academic years, Christina wasn't very studious, like many kids her interest were in playing outdoors. Overtime she got a liking to playing soccer and pursued that game like it were her life, spending the little time she had after school in the ground with her friends to play soccer. Overtime her grades dropped which forced her mother to have her grounded. During that time, her elder brother, who already graduated and was in the university taught her the basics which got her through that semester barely, with rigorous training from her brother and several scolding from her mother, she eventually got in touch with the syllabus and started to barely score better grades. She did not have many real friends besides the ones in sports, and for the same reason she wasn't involved in any kind of malicious activity in and outside the school. Dared by her brother for fun and with a little help from his friends who went to the school, she ended up in the student council to the surprise. The student council was where she started to develop the partly intimidating look of hers and grew much bolder in terms of personality unknowingly, handling other kids and getting them in control and hosting events were not easy.
Her love for soccer did not fade overtime however, she was still weak in terms of academics and the only thing that got her through was her capability to understand details rather than memorizing, but her mentality was more focused on sports, playing for the school team from time to time as a goal keeper or sometimes as a defender, she managed to develop an improved sense of bodily coordination and a knack over her physical fitness. At the age of sixteen, she moved out as she was tired of dealing with her brothers every morning out of sheer annoyance, and wanted something new, just then her friend proposed an offer to move to Paleto bay as roommates, she took the offer and moved there. Having graduated at the age of eighteen with no backlogs or holdbacks, she denied support from her parents after, wanting to take care of herself and didn't wanna be the princess of the family, she took the employment opportunity that came soonest until she could tackle the dream of hers, to serve the public without being hindered financially, at the Grapeseed 24/7. During weekends and free time she visited her mother at the community center and taught the kids there sometimes to play soccer and helped her out wherever she could. After sometime, she received intimation about a fitness club with several branches in San Andreas hiring people through billboards at the 24/7, she quit the cashier job followed.
Christina ended up joining the gym in Paleto Bay as a fitness trainer after several months of training and this got her in her favorable fitness state, working under two other coaches who mentored her. Juggling as a volunteer between the community center and the gym, she began to search for a better suited career which also serves, thinking like her mother. Realizing she was not very well suited to be a nurse and not wanting to follow in her mother's footsteps, she looked around for employment opportunities after working with the fitness center for a year after finishing training, saving up money until then. Working as a fitness instructor full time drew her into a disconnect state where she preferred to be alone most of the times as dealing with certain clients were tiring, she only began to speak only when needed outside of the job and preferred staying home most of the times. However during the fall of 2023, the fitness center had a change in ownership and went through a process of rebranding, which eventually had the branch she worked in close up. Having no further interest to pursue down the career path as a fitness instructor, she took a break. Suggested by a friend of hers to join the sheriff's department, as the friend figured she might find it easier to be one given her career path so far, she started to look into the procedures to enter into the field. Somewhat filtering out her personal interests, the first one on the list were the Los Santos Sheriff's Department and started to walk her own path from then on.
After having spent about two months simply researching the leads about potential job opportunities within the local law enforcement and the benefits that came along, she slowly came to a realization that it could potentially be her calling, something that could potentially keep her active, interested and something to challenge herself all the time with. And the best part for her was, she would be paid for all the hard work, and it's a form of serving the public and the local community. Now knowing that becoming a Deputy Sheriff tackles six in one stone on her ambition bucket list, she spent the following month preparing herself to her level best for the position and learning the necessary to fill the knowledge gaps in the law and prosecution of law through the internet and local job fairs. Even though she was aware of the risks associated with her job.. She always wanted a sense of utmost independency, in the proper social standing that isn't a boring desk job. Though it took her quite sometime to learn and understand the basics, this boosted her confidence and her social skills in a way, as she pursued a dream of hers with no outside help.
