• Marco Carballar was born on May 21 2001, in the beautiful yet dangerous streets of New York City. Growing up, Marco's childhood was filled with difficulties which led him to become heavily involved with the wrong group of people often getting into trouble at school which would lead to him getting into trouble at home. His family was worried about his futuree because of his disobedient behavior and disrespect for authority. When Marco was only 13 years old, his parents made a life changing decision, deciding to send him to live with his uncle who stayed in the Rancho area of Los Santos, recognizing the need for a fresh start and positive influence.
  
  Marco's uncle was a retired deputy who worked for the Los Santos County Sheriff’s Department and had an incredible sense of discipline, responsibility, and dedication to criminal justice. Marco's life began to take a step in a different direction under his tutelage. His Uncle's knowledge and guidance motivated and inspired him to make big adjustments in his behavior and choices by allowing him to realize the potential inside himself that he had failed to display in the past. Marco gradually began to mature obtaining a greater sense of discipline and responsibility.
  
  Marco's graduation from Rancho High marked a watershed moment for him. His sense of accomplishment fueled his desire and motivation for education and self-improvement. Marco later enrolled in college at the reputable University of Los Santos eager to further his education and pursue his newfound passion for police enforcement and criminal justice. The institution introduced him to a wide range of knowledge and opportunities but it was around this time that he realized he wanted to be a Deputy.
  
  Growing up as a troubled child offered Marco a unique viewpoint and empathy for those who may be experiencing similar difficulties within themselves . He felt obligated to use his background as encouragement for positive change in his community. Marco's ambitions to become a Deputy were now deeply anchored in a genuine desire to protect and serve to make a difference and to be a positive role model for people who may be going through difficult times throughout their lives.
  
  Marco maintained a great bond with his Uncle throughout his teenage years, who continued to encourage and motivate him. His Uncle's constant faith in his abilities only fueled his determination to become successful. Marco immersed himself in numerous law enforcement disciplines as he pursued his dreams gaining the information and abilities required to succeed in his chosen career path.
  
  Finally, Marco Carballar's narrative demonstrates the transformative power of mentorship and the ability to overcome adversity. Marco's journey from a disturbed kid in the grimy streets of New York to a now determined and successful young adult in Los Santos exemplifies his commitment to reform, grow, and be a positive influence. Inspired by his Uncle's valorous service he discovered his calling as a Deputy Sheriff inspired by a genuine desire to serve and protect not only his community but others with empathy and compassion.
