Luciana Angel wrote: Sun Mar 17, 2024 3:04 am So, will it likely be possible for us to expect apps to open sometime next month?
I would say it's more likely to see applications open in April, rather than in March, yes.

To be determined but I don’t believe so. We still have a lot of people in Field Training and we don’t want to over-stress the Field Training Program with too many trainees all at once.

We would prefer native or near native, however, you should be able to communicate effectively and be understood by your peers when communicating in English.

Characters generally are PK’d, not CK’d so you wouldn’t need to name change anyway. Regardless, as long as you’re an active member of the faction, you wouldn’t need to reapply under a different character name - internal name change requests are allowed.

Dear Mr. Gonzalez:

We have evaluated your application and qualifications for the position of Deputy Sheriff Trainee.

We are pleased to inform you that you have passed your Written Test. The next step in the recruitment process is to attend a Structured Interview with a Background Investigator. At your earliest convenience, please report to the Hall of Justice in formal clothing at 300 Innocence Boulevard, Los Santos, San Andreas. Make sure to bring an identification card, a copy of this invitation, and relevant diplomas.

(( The Hall of Justice can be located here.

You can use "/gps Hall of Justice" in-game to find the location. There will not always be someone working the reception desk, if you arrive and no one is at the desk feel free to walk past and head up to the second floor where the Personnel Administration Bureau is located. Keep in mind your ID would have been checked along with all other required paperwork and your name would be forwarded to the Pre-Employment Unit deputies.

At this point wait in the lobby just outside the elevator until a deputy arrives to complete your interview. While the Structured Interview does not contain a Teamspeak portion, we ask you to join the Legal Factions Teamspeak (ts.gta.world) and wait in the "Lobby" channel under the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department channel family. A member of the Pre-Employment Unit will contact you depending on their availability and schedule the in-character interview. You are not required to wait here in-game and can just wait in Teamspeak until a deputy is available.

Please ensure that your name is in the following format: [APPLICANT] Firstname Lastname.

You may also join the LSSD Discord here and follow the verification steps found in the "group-requests" channel for the "Dept. Candidate group". The group will give access to the #dept-candidate channel where you may schedule and request for your interview to be handled. Please keep common courtesy in mind and do not make repeated requests over a short period of time in the channel. ))

Sincerely,

JOSEPH CLINE, SHERIFF
