BUSINESS CHECK SERVICE
If you own a business in an area covered by the Senora Sheriff's Station, you are encouraged to take advantage of the Los Santos County Sheriff's Department free Business Check service.
This free service involves a sheriff's deputy providing directed patrols in the area of your business, using marked/unmarked vehicles and on foot. During business hours, deputies may come into your business to speak about ongoing issues and concerns. While your business is closed, deputies may conduct a check for unlocked windows or doors, evidence of possible forced entry, and any other suspicious activity. If desired, you may request a specific deputy from the North County Crime Impact Team or Senora Station Resident Deputy Program to act as your point of contact.
Businesses that are not signed up for this service may still have deputies conducting extra patrols and business checks at their location.
Businesses that are signed up receive a more tailored service. Benefits include checks being conducted during normal opening hours, checks being done on a more regular basis, deputies having access to keyholder information to contact if needed, and having an appointed point-of-contact if so requested.
By submitting a request form you agree to the following terms and conditions:
- Deputies will only enforce state codes and statutes. They are not a substitute for private security companies.
- No preferential treatment will be given to owners or proprietors of businesses who participate in the program.
- A completed request form does not guarantee that a directed patrol will be conducted. Deputies will attempt to conduct these business checks but will prioritize emergency calls.
