This bonus assignment is contingent on your successful completion of the following training, in addition to your probationary phase:
      1. Basic SWAT school (6 months);
      2. Emergency Medical Technician school (6 weeks);
      3. Paramedic Training and Licensure (8 months);
      4. LSSD Public Safety Diver Certification Training (6 to 8 weeks duration);
      5. LSSD Search and Rescue Certification Training (4 to 6 weeks duration);
      6. LSSD Air Rescue Certification Training (6 to 8 weeks duration); and
      7. LSFD Technical Rescue Course (6 to 8 weeks duration).


      You will gain all appropriate access, via our Department's intranet, shortly. Upon gaining access, you must do the following:
      1. Read and acknowledge all of our Standard Operating Procedures and relevant Unit Orders; and
      2. Familiarize yourself with all available (and appropriate) in-service training.
      3. Make yourself a personnel file.


      (( In order to progress through the Detail, you must obtain your and search and rescue certifications from the Los Santos Fire Department. It is your responsibility to arrange these training dates. You may join the Los Santos Fire Department's Discord to gain access to the liaison channel, where you may contact the aforementioned individuals.

      In order to progress through your required training, you must obtain your technical rescue certifications from the Los Santos Fire Department. The following individuals are responsible for running the Urban Search and Rescue division of the Fire Department:
      • Kurt Holland (Vitta#3127), USAR Coordinator; and
      • Ken Boyd (Exodus#9999): USAR Co-coordinator and training coordinator.


      Your character will in-character attend an emergency medical technician class, paid for by the department. In-game, you will be subjected to a session—not to exceed more than one hour—that will go over skills pertaining to that level of certification (splinting, advanced airway management, etc.). Furthermore, you will also take an open-book exam consisting of multiple-choice questions and open-ended scenarios.

      Please keep Detail Command informed of your training progression. Command will be checking in with you regularly about your training. ))

      • Conduct searches, rescues, and recoveries;
      • Provide 24-hour paramedic services to law enforcement teams, including those participating in high-risk operations;
      • Provide tactical emergency medical services to the Department;
      • Provide, maintain, and administer a Public Safety Diver Course for the Department;
      • Provide medical training for Special Enforcement Bureau personnel and outside agencies; and
      • Maintain law enforcement and rescue patrol capabilities in the County of Los Santos, and deliver such rescue capabilities as called upon.
